Christian Duncan
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Christian Dialli Duncan is the Managing Director and visionary of Maad975. He has over 20 years experience as an engineer, working at Guysuco between 1993-1998 and Swansea from 1998-2010. He is well able to lead this dynamic team to greatness. He is a focused, self-motivated family man.

Christian, who is a student of St Margaret’s Primary School, Queens Collage Secondary and a graduate of the University of Guyana is the CEO and Founder of the Brutal Tracks Recording Studio. Christian has been an integral part of the Guyanese music and entertainment industry, since the early 2000s. He is quoted as saying that “Maad975 was an automatic transition from the recording studio, as a manufacturer of music I saw the need to have a distribution channel for the music we produced”

Nicole Griffith
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER

Nicole Griffith is the Human Resource Manager of Maad975, with over 15 years of experience in the management field. Throughout her career she has been responsible for managing people and finance. Her last 10 years were spent in Retail Services, where she was mainly responsible for managing Retail stores – from lobbying (sort of) for new locations to launching those locations, managing major regional and local client accounts, ensuring that each new year brought increased profit and increased market share.

Nicole has described herself as an extroverted introvert, who has finally found her way to doing what she has always loved doing. She is the true example of FULL CIRCLE – after High School she did work-study at the GBC and GTV, now…. some 1 year after?? LOL 25 years later! Wow she is finally back where she always wanted to be.

Basil Persaud
PROGRAM MANAGER

Basil Persaud joined the Guyana Broadcasting Corporation 1990 as a studio engineer and worked his way up to Senior Studio Engineer. In 1997 he was selected to be part of the team to be on Guyana’s first FM stereo radio, where he did “Basil P Show” on Sunday afternoons.

Basil graduated from University of Guyana in 2000 with a Diploma in Communications and subsequently became a Sports Journalist and then promoted to 98.1’s Sports Editor. He also hosted the Brutal Tracks Video Mix on Channel HBTV 9.

Colin Blackman
MUSIC COORDINATOR

Colin is the Music Coordinator for Madd975, with over 18 years experience as a Professional DJ and Radio Personality. He is ready to take you on a never ending musically journey. Colin started as a DJ in the 90’s, playing in the U.S.A (G.Force Sound) in the years 2000-2001. He worked at Electra Records U.S.A, in promotions, as a DJ at the Gem Morrison Show 93.5FM, New Rochelle, New York. In 2010 Colin started out as a Selector and a DJ at King Scorpion Sound Guyana and also as an announcer at the Brutal Saturday Night Extravaganza on 98.1FM. Since then Colin has been able to solidify his presence in the music and radio broadcast industry being the Manager for Brutal Internet Radio, DJ on Evolution Sound, I-T Technician at 93.1 FM, promoter for Banks & GT Beers, Programmer and I-T consultant at 104.1 FM.

Ken Taylor “The Beatmaker” MUSIC PRODUCER/SOUND ENGINEER

Studio and Live Sound Engineering, Composing and writing of jingles and Songs. Ken has over 10 years experience and has been the Sound Engineer at the Brutal Tracks Recording Studios since 2008. He has worked at several live events as Stage Engineer.

Ken describes himself as a quiet person, who loves learning new things. “One of my greatest joys is creating something that didn’t exist before and see it affect another person in a positive way”

Orlando Beckles
VIDEOGRAPHER

Orlando Beckles is our Videographer, in charge of all videography, photography, graphics design and website development for Maad975. Orlando studied at Global Technology, Government Technical Institute and attended the East Ruimveldt Secondary School. He is very versatile and experienced in the media production industry, with over 18 years experience. Orlando has worked for and in collaboration with, companies such as: Pressy Enterprise, Video Mega Productions, U-Link Production, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Guyana, among others. He has also done music videos for Guyanese and international recording artistes. Orlando can be described as a fun loving young man with a passion to see Guyana on the world map for positive things.

Fiya Feelings
RADIO DJ

Leon Watson, more popularly known as “DJ FIYA FEELINGS” is one of our radio DJs at Maad 975. With over 19 years of experience as a DJ, playing in the clubs and on sounds all around Guyana and in the U.S.A. Fiya Feelings has played on sounds such as: Slingers, Trend Setters, Stereo Sonic, Power Sonic, Gold Stone, Sonic Boom, Riddim Squad, Royalty Vybz, Forensic Sound and One Voice sound, to name a few. Leon is a conscience young man who realizes the power he has as a DJ and decided to use his influence to bring positive impact to the young community and anyone who listens his music.
